Why Is The Tank On My Swimming Pool Leaking?

A few things could cause this to happen.  The bleeder valve/pressure gauge could need replaced, or simply need an O-ring lubricated or replaced.  The tank band may not be on tight enough, or the tank O-ring may need replaced.  A more serious issue is if the filter housing itself is leaking.  Since the tank is under pressure, when this starts happening it’s often time to purchase a new filter tank unit (which includes new filters).
